2008!
Looking back, 2007 was pivotal for True North. We had several sucessful events surrounding faith and vocation at Kendall and GRCC. I was also able to meet many new students.
Looking ahead, 2008 promises to be significant. We'll continue hosting events on campus adding an event at the Grand Valley State Pew Campus.
We're also going to pilot our mentoring program. Email Susan if you're interested in learning more about this new program at info@truenorthonline.org
Happy New Year!

About True North
True North seeks to help college students in downtown Grand Rapids explore how to integrate their Christian faith into their future profession and lifestyle choices. There are two ways True North accomplishes this: through events focused on specific topics, and through connecting students with professionals working in their field.
Our events occur a few times each semester. Examples of topics are Faith and Nursing, Faith and Teaching, Faith and Food (eating locally, organic, etc), Faith and Transportation. At these events we invite a speaker to share how their Christian faith has impacted the decisions made in these fields. We also allow time for discussion and food! To see upcoming events, check the “events” tab.
We also want to connect students with professionals working in their field. This is an opportunity for students to have lunch with a Christian already working in their field of interest. As a college student it is a great opportunity to talk about professional issues from a Christian perspective.
True North is a ministry of the PCUSA. For more information please see www.pcusa.org.
